Version 1 — 2026-05-26. These terms apply to DigiTune GTS digital licences purchased from gts.digitune.co.uk. They do not affect your separate Terms and Conditions covering tuning services or physical products.
1. About these terms
These Software Licence Terms are the agreement between you (“Licensee”) and DigiTune Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“DigiTune”, “we”, “us”), governing your use of DigiTune GTS — Graphical Tuning Suite (“the Software”). By purchasing a licence, downloading, installing or using the Software you agree to these terms.
2. The licence we grant you
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Software, subject to the limits of the licence tier you purchased:
- Trial licence: free to evaluate the Software for the period stated on the product page (currently 30 days). Trial licences may not be used commercially.
- Personal licence: use on up to 3 vehicles/ECUs that you own. Not for commercial tuning of customers’ vehicles.
- Commercial licence: use as part of your tuning business or to tune vehicles for paying customers, on as many vehicles as you tune.
- All paid licences are per device — one activated licence per computer running the Software.
3. What you may not do
- Copy, distribute, sub-license, lease, rent or resell the Software or your licence key.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software except to the extent expressly permitted by law.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark or licence notices.
- Use the Software to develop a competing product.
- Share licence keys outside the scope of the licence tier you purchased.
4. Updates
Software updates released during the active period of your licence are included at no additional cost. The Software checks for updates on launch and will offer to install them.
5. Right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content.
By ticking the consent box at checkout, you give us your express consent to deliver your digital licence immediately, and you acknowledge that doing so means you lose the right to cancel the purchase under the Regulations.
If you don’t want to lose that right, do not tick the consent box and do not purchase a paid licence — use the free trial to evaluate the Software instead.
6. Refunds
Because digital licences are delivered immediately and you have waived your 14-day cancellation right at checkout, paid licences are non-refundable once issued, except as required by law.
Your statutory rights are not affected. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if the Software is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a refund, repair or replacement. If you believe this applies, email [email protected] with a description of the issue and your order details.
Use the free 30-day trial to evaluate the Software’s suitability for your ECU and workflow before purchasing a paid licence.
7. Term and termination
Time-limited licences (30 day, 12 month) end automatically at the end of the period. Lifetime licences continue indefinitely, subject to these terms. We may terminate your licence if you materially breach these terms and fail to remedy the breach within 14 days of notice. On termination you must stop using the Software and delete all copies.
8. Warranties and disclaimers
The Software is a tool that helps you analyse engine data and tune ECU calibrations. The decisions you make using the Software’s output remain your own. DigiTune does not warrant that any tune produced using the Software will be safe, legal or suitable for any particular engine, vehicle, fuel grade or use. Tuning an engine carries inherent risk; you are responsible for the outcome of any changes you apply to your ECU.
Beyond the statutory rights guaranteed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you under or in connection with these terms — whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise — is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, or damage to engines, vehicles or other property arising from tuning decisions made using the Software.
10. Data
Licence activation contacts our licence server with your machine identifier and your licence key, so we can verify the activation and apply the per-device limit. We do not collect or store tuning data, log files, or calibration files. See our privacy policy for further details about how we handle personal data.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
